I really do enjoy this heating pad! It works great when I'm sitting against a flat back surface. The heat goes directly to my back. The adjustable control starts around 110 degrees, maxes out at a setting of 150, and takes a few minutes to reach its full potential. When I wrapped it around my shoulders, it was ok....but much better when I discovered the button to hold the shoulder flaps together. When I put a blanket over my shoulders, the heat stayed against my body better and warmed the muscles.
